Art Exhibition Inspired by the Triangle Fire

August 18 - October 9

Artist Rick Levinson Exhibition, “Sarah Brodsky’s Ring” at Bentley Gallery in Phoenix, AZ, through October 9

Bentley Gallery in Phoenix, AZ is currently hosting an exhibition that centers the story of one Triangle fire victim, Sarah Brodsky, and one fateful artifact—an engagement ring—as it traveled through generations to the present day.

Sarah Brodsky’s died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. Engaged to be married, her ring’s journey did not end on that fateful day. The installation it inspired tells a story of tragedy and the will to go on after it strikes us.

“Sarah Brodsky’s Ring” is a kinetic, multimedia installation featuring paintings on free-hanging linens, sculptural assemblage, and works on paper. Through text and visual narrative, guest artist Rick Levinson creates an experiential journey through time, across generations, anchored by the gravitas of one tragic artifact.
