Violence Intervention Program / Programa para la Intervencion Contra la Violencia (VIP) is a national Latina organization to promote nonviolent partner relationships, familias, and communities through awareness, activism, and culturally competent services respectful of survivors’ rights to self-determination. This piece explains abuses that immigrant workers, mostly women, have suffered and died from. Despite great progress, women continue to be abused. VIP’s goal is to eradicate the violence on women, and we will continue the fight.
