Celebrating Our Roots: Panel Discussion Honoring the 40th Anniversary of the 1982 Chinatown Garment Workers’ Strike

The Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race at Columbia University will hold a panel discussion called “Celebrating Our Roots,” which will have special musical performances to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 1982 Chinatown garment workers’ strike and its lasting impact on the families, community, and labor history of NYC’s Chinatown.
The event will be held October 19, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public, registration is not required.
