Remembering Kitty Genovese: A Public Forum at Fordham University

A public forum remembering Kitty Genovese 60 years later will be held on Saturday, March 9th at Fordham University, 113 West 60th Street, NYC.

The event will look back at the tragedy in New York on March 13, 1964, when young Kitty was murdered near her home while many unhelpful neighbors said “I just did not want to get involved.” In this forum, Kitty’s family is joined by several experts to review and celebrate the life of Ms. Genovese, and how deeply this 1964 tragedy impacted western society. This is a free Event open to the public.
